Grace Merle Swanner

Grace Merle Swanner loving mother and grandmother went
home to her heavenly
father peacefully on the 30th of March.
Merle was born in Duchesne, Utah on November 18, 1921
and was the daughter of Leona Wright and Marion
Everett Sexton.
She married Francis Darrell Swanner of Ogden on March
27, 1943 in Spanish Fork Utah.
During her lifetime she lived in Salt Lake City, Boise
and Buhl,, Idaho, Olympia, Washington and Albany,
Oregon before returning to Utah to be near her family.

Merle worked as a teletype operator at Western Union
and as a supervisor at Remington Arms. After her only
daughter was born she devoted her time to raising her
and later enjoying her grandchildren. She will be
greatly missed by all who knew her.
She is survived by her daughter, Julie (Darrell)
Bailey; her brother Robert M.
Sexton; her grandchildren Justin (Zuli) Lund, Shawn,
Amanda and Alysia; and her great grandchildren Valorey
and Alexander Lund.
Merle was preceded in death by her husband, parents,
and her brother.
Funeral services will be held at 12:00 p.m. on April
4, at Allen-Hall Mortuary.
Friends and Family may visit the mortuary between
10:30 am and 11 :45am prior to the service. Interment
will be in the Logan City Cemetery. Condolences may be
