An active member of the Church of Jesus Christ of Latter-day Saints, she served as Primary President, Relief Society President, Mutual President, in various stake callings, was a faithful visiting teacher, and was a Primary teacher until she was 85 years old. She worked as an Extraction Missionary with her husband. Upon his death, she served a full-time mission to the London England South Mission for 18 months. Mom faithfully kept a journal, excellent family history records, and loved doing genealogy. Her amazing testimony was a light to all who knew her.

She is survived by her daughters Karen (James) Blotter of Millville, Marie (Doug) Burke of Bountiful, Rose Mary (Robert) Jones of Millville, 15 grandchildren, 45 great grandchildren, a sister Elizabeth (Libbie) Gittins of Smithfield, a brother W.
