Gwendolyn (Gwen) June Hayes

May 3, 2006 — February 5, 2010

Gwendolyn (Gwen) June Hayes, 3, slipped away on February 25, 2010.
Gwen was born two months early on May 23, 2006 in Pocatello, Idaho, to her loving parents Andrew and Jennifer Fewkes Hayes.
Gwen was born deafblind and later diagnosed with a rare genetic disorder. Despite many complications Gwen was a very happy girl and brought joy to all who knew her. She had the touch of an angel—her smile and giggle could melt any heart. Gwen loved over-easy eggs on toast, chocolate milk, and animal crackers. Her favorite toy was a string of beads. Some of her accomplishments included learning to sit up on her own, pulling things out of containers, drinking from a straw, and was beginning to bear weight on her legs with support. She attended Riverside Preschool with the assistance of her loving intervener, Terri Crossley, and many dedicated teachers and therapists.
Gwen leaves behind her parents, younger sister, Aniah, and many others who will love and miss her.
Gwen, your smile, touch, and laughter will be greatly missed, but always remembered in our hearts. Though your time with us was short, we are forever grateful for this time and look forward to eternity.
Viewing to be held at Allen-Hall Mortuary (34 E. Center St.) Thursday, March 4th, from 6-8:00pm. Funeral services will be on Friday, March 5th, at 11:00am at the LDS Chapel, 100 W. 600 S. Logan. Interment will be at the Logan City Cemetery.
