Harold Don Wuthrich was born in Logan, UT on November 7, 1940 to Paul and Margaret Wuthrich, the second of four children. He died peacefully on July 12, 2022.
Harold had a loving and playful childhood surrounded by his older brother and two younger sisters and numerous cousins. He remembered the family getting together and his aunts and uncles relating tales of Switzerland where the family immigrated from. He loved the yodeling of the country.
He attended Whittier Elementary and Logan High School. He attended Utah State. He excelled in art and decorating. He was a sportsman of the family. He enjoyed swimming, skiing, and camping.
He worked in Utah and California for Smith's Food and later at Chase in security.
Traveling was a joy for him and whoever he was with. The highlight of his travel was to his homeland of Switzerland with his brother, Kay and his wife Jan, Sister Sylvia and her husband Ernest, and he and Sue.
It was a glorious trip to visit the old home, the Bern Temple, and accidently find the Wuthrich Bakery and have yummy desserts.
Whenever the family traveled to Utah it was seeing or staying with Uncle Harold. He opened to his youngest sister, Janice and his nephew Todd while he went to law school, and numerous others.
He was a member of the Church of Jesus Christ of Latter-day Saints. He had a loving and abiding faith in the Savior. He loved people.
He is survived by his brother Paul Kay (Jan) and nephews and nieces, Todd Eric, Marc Tyler, David Astle (Amy), Chad Stuart (Jennifer), LIsa Morris, Gregory Paul (SueZann), Erik (Heather), and dear friends Sue and Craig.
Funeral services will be held July 22, 2022 with visitation at 9am followed by services at 10 am at the Crescent Park 3rd Ward Chapel located at 11350 S 1300 E, Sandy, UT. Interment at the Logan City Cemetery following the funeral service.
In lieu of flowers, the family ask that donations be made to help pay for funeral services. Donations can be made by calling 435-752-3245.
