Harriet Arline Varner, 88, passed away April 9, 2006, at Sunshine Terrace in Logan, UT. She was born January 28, 1918, in Akron, OH. Her parents were Paul and Anna Wirth. She is an Akron Central High School graduate.
She married Robert Laverne Varner November 19, 1938, in Akron, OH. Last November they celebrated 67 years of love and happiness. She is survived by a daughter, Carol (Harold) Kinzer of North Logan; two grandsons: Jeffery (Sharon) Kinzer, Chalfont, PA, and Gregory Kinzer, Buffalo, NY; a brother, Donald P. (Barbara) Wirth, and several nieces and nephews. She was preceded in death ill. by her husband, Robert (December, 2005); a son, Paul Robert Varner; and a sister, Alice.
With her husband she created a successful Amway business. In 1970 Robert and Harriet retired to Deltona, FL, and later DeLand, FL. In retirement, they traveled extensively and enjoyed their grandchildren. In 1997 Robert and Harriet moved to Logan to live near their daughter, Carol.
Graveside services will be held at 1:00 p.m., Thursday, April 13, 2006 at the Logan City Cemetery, 1000 North 1200 East. Friends and family are invited to attend the graveside services as well at the viewing at Allen-Cranney Mortuary, 420 East 1800 North, North Logan on Wednesday evening from 6-7 p.m. and on Thursday from 12:00-12:30 p.m. prior to services.
