Harriett Kerr

Harriett P. Kirby Kerr passed away in her home in Logan, Utah on November 2, 2015 at the age of 94.
She was born on October 21, 1921 in Lincoln, Idaho to George G. and Marion H. Kirby. She was the oldest of 9 children. She was married to Aulden Robert Kerr in August of 1941 in Idaho Falls, Idaho and had three daughters, one son who died in infancy, and one adopted son.
She attended college in her middle years and obtained an R. N. degree and later became a pediatrics practitioner nurse and worked in hospital and home care, Hospice and teaching capacities. She did service nursing in Mexico.
She served in many positions in the LDS Church including that of relief society president twice, primary president twice, and young women's president. She remained active in her church and community until a few months before her death.
She is survived by children Cathy K. Berrett (Marlin) of Mantua, Utah; Kerry Koon (Clair) of Nyssa, Oregon; Delsa Marshall of Spokane Valley, Washington and Glenn Martin Kerr (Marie) of Davidsonville, Md. She, also, has 3 living brothers and 2 sisters. She had six grandchildren and seventeen great-grandchildren.
Funeral services will be held at 2:00 PM on Saturday, November 7, 2015 in the Cliffside 2nd Ward Chapel, 1350 Eastridge Drive in Logan, Utah. A viewing will be held prior to the services at the church from 12:30 to 1:30 PM. Interment will be at Rose Hill Cemetery, 2355 Rollandet Street in Idaho Falls, Idaho on Monday, November 9, 2015 at 12:30 PM. Condolences may be sent to the family at www.allenmortuaries.net
