Ida Mae Barnes Larsen

PROVIDENCE, UTAH: Ida Mae Barnes Larsen, 82, of Providence, died Wednesday, May 3, 2006 at the Logan Regional Hospital of congestive heart failure.

She was born January 14, 1924 in Logan, Utah a daughter of Claude and Annie Womack Barnes. She attended Logan schools and graduated from Logan High School. She married Raymond Larsen on February 21, 1940. Their marriage was alter solemnized in the Logan Temple. She has lived in Providence all her married life. Mae worked at Bear River Head Start, Wurlitzer and Sunshine Terrace as a CNA. She taught Primary and Sunday School. Mae enjoyed tube painting, quilting, hard work and her yard.

She is survived by her children, Ron, Shirley, Willis, 15 grandchildren, 38 great-grandchildren, one sister, Dorothy Hoskell, Magna, UT. She was preceded in death by one son, Dallas and two sisters.

Funeral services will be held Tuesday at 12:00 pm in the Allen-Hall Mortuary chapel. Friends may call at the mortuary Monday evening from 6-8 pm and on Tuesday one hour prior to services. Interment will be in the Providence Cemetery. Condolences may be extended to the family at www.allenmortuaries.net
