Isabella Anderson-Davis

March 11, 2005 — December 12, 2012

MENDON, UTAH: Isabella Sue Anderson-Davis has completed her mission on earth and earned her wings. She was born into this world on March 11, 2005 and left to be with our heavenly father on December 12, 2012. Isabella’s body was not a perfect one and she spent a considerable amount of her seven-and-a-half years in hospitals. She endured illnesses that would have taken adults to their knees, yet she never complained. Often her medical tribulations did bring people to their knees, but in prayer, for her strength of character and joyous spirit enlivened many hearts. One needed only to look into her beautiful eyes or hear her priceless giggle to feel enriched by her innocence and love. This one brave little girl touched so many lives and that is truly the miracle we’ve come to call her mission.

Over the years, Isabella earned many nicknames – “Princess Izzy” for the way she would cross her legs, “Little Rockette” for her infamous high-kicks, and “Bella” for her beauty. At the end of her journey we came to know her as simply “Izzy Strong”. She was a fighter and stayed strong until the end, imparting a final lesson that strength is in us all.

We would like to thank the amazing doctors, nurses, nurse’s aides, and staff at Logan Regional Hospital where Izzy took her final breath, and also those at Primary Children’s Hospital in Salt Lake City where she spent so many months before. Here is a very special hug for Dr. Ryan Bell, Izzy’s pediatrician, because thank you just isn’t enough. And we are so grateful to the wonderful Access Home Health nurses who spent long night hours watching over the little angel Isabella so her mother could sleep peacefully knowing she was well cared for – Carly, MaryAnn, Lila, Robin, Shoni, and her favorite CNA Tim; you are all a part of our family forever.

Izzy was preceded in death by her sister Tonya (June 9, 2008) only four years ago, and is survived by her mother Greta Anderson-Davis, five brothers and five sisters, and sundry relatives near and far. Condolences and sympathy cards may be sent to her siblings to help them through this time of grief.

Viewing and services will be held at Allen-Hall Mortuary on Thursday, December 20, 2012; open-casket viewing 12 p.m. to 1:30 p.m. and services begin at 2 p.m.. Following the services all are invited to continue the celebration of Izzy’s life at the Mendon Chapel, located at 20 North 100 West, Mendon. Condolences and memories may be shared with the family online at www.allenmortuaries.net
