HYRUM- Ivella H Byington, 91, Passed away peacefully with family, in the home of Kevin and Yvonne Coombs of Garland on March 8, 2015.
She was born January 7, 1924 in Wellsville, Utah to Andrew and Harriet Hutchison. She Graduated from Buhl High school in 1943. She enlisted in the U.S. Army in 1944, during WWII, serving 18 months. She married Howard S Byington on January 12, 1948. They were later sealed in the Logan Temple on May 17, 1965.
A long time resident of Cache Valley, she worked for Mode-o-day for 20 years, and for Pepperidge Farms for 15 years. retiring from both.
She is survived by her son, Carl (Bonnie) Byington, daughter, Marketa (Doug) Bills, Son, Ross (Renee) Byington, Daughter, Doralie (Bruce) Byington, (Sheila) Byington, Son, Dave, (Teresa) Byington. 29 Grandchildren, 46 great-grandchildren and 30 great-great-grandchildren.
She is preceded in death by her husband Howard Byington and Loving Son Steven Byington (January 6,2015). Her parents Andrew and Harriet, Daughters, Eva Smith, Linda Kennington, Son Delvon Byington. 6 sisters and 4 brothers.
For those of us who knew her, she was strong and spirited with a smile that brightened every room like a ray of sunshine. Her hands and heart were always there for any person or animal that was in need.

Services will be held at 11:00 AM on Saturday, March 14, 2015 at the Allen-Hall Mortuary, 34 East Center Street in Logan. A viewing will be held on Friday evening from 6:00 to 8:00 PM at the mortuary and prior to the services on Saturday from 9:00 to 10:45 AM. Interment will be in the Wellsville Cemetery.
