James M. Carlson

James Miles Carlson

James Miles Carlson, 81, passed away peacefully on November 17, 2011. He was born August 11, 1930 to Leah and Raymond Carlson in Logan, Utah.
He graduated from Logan High School and went on to Utah State University to earn his Bachelors and Masters Degree.
Jim worked as a speech pathologist in the Logan City School District and helped his parents operate the Milady’s Shop, a ladies ready to wear store in downtown Logan.
After retirement, he worked in the Logan Temple for over 20 years and enjoyed doing extraction work for the Church of Jesus Christ of Latter-day Saints until his health would no longer permit it.
He was an active member of the Church of Jesus Christ of Latter-day Saints, where he served in many callings, including the High Council.
Jim was an independent gentleman who was loved by all who he came in contact with. He loved and honored his parents. He was a good and faithful servant who endured to the end.
Special thanks to all who gave Jim kindness and comfort thru out his life.

A graveside service will be held at noon on Tuesday November 22, 2011 at the Logan City Cemetery. A viewing will be held at Allen-Hall Mortuary before the service from 10:30 to 11:30 AM. Condolences may be sent to the family at www.allenmortuaries.net

Due to Jim’s firm belief in education, in lieu of flowers, please send donations to the perpetual education fund of the Church of Jesus Christ of Latter-day Saints.
