Janet Elizabeth Gruver

Janet Elizabeth Gruver passed away on December 19th at her home in Logan. She was born February 5, 1950 in Los Angeles, California, daughter of Barbara G. Gruver and the late Robert E. Gruver. She grew up in Whittier, CA, graduated from Ricks College, now BYU-Idaho, and attended Utah State University. She suffered from diabetes and passed away unexpectedly. She and her smile will be greatly missed.
She was blessed with a beautiful soprano voice and brought joy to all who heard her. She sang in church choirs, in California and Utah, and toured Scandinavia with a choral/orchestral group after she moved to Salt Lake.
She is survived by her mother, Barbara, and her brother, Joel Gruver, of Timonium, Maryland.
Graveside services will be conducted by Bishop Ronald Godfrey at Logan City Cemetery on Thursday, December 23rd, at 11:00 am. Condolences may be expressed to the family at www.allenmortuaries.net
