LOGAN, UTAH: Jeanette Viola Wright Williams passed away in her home in Logan, Utah on February 13, 2012. She was 83 years old this last January.
She is survived by her sweetheart husband of 62 years, D. Frayne Williams. She is also survived by her 3 brothers Lloyd, Gib, and Jack, as well as her 6 children: Susan Aspelund, Patty (and Mac) Richards, Cheryl (and Randy) Brown, Terry (and Randy) Williams, Kyle Williams, and Julie (and Jim) Huppi. She is also survived by her 23 grand-children, and 13 great grand-children.
Jeanette was born in Chico, California and her family soon after settled in the Willamette Valley of Oregon. She married Frayne in 1950 and they raised their family in various towns and farming areas of Oregon. They moved to Bountiful, Utah in 1974, and retired to Logan in 1994.
Jeanette converted to the LDS faith as an adult and focused the energies of her life serving her family, her church, and her neighbors. Jeanette and Frayne served a mission in a five state area of Appalachia in 1992.
She loved to sew and quilt by hand, work in her gardens, and she has passed these passions on to her entire posterity. She lived every day of her life in service and love for all, and peace in her soul.
Memorial services will be held at the Logan 29th Ward LDS Chapel at 500 E 800 N in Logan. Viewing will be Friday February 17, from 6:30-7:30 PM at the church Viewing Saturday, February 18, 10:30- 11:30 AM. Memorial service following the Saturday viewing at 12:00 PM. Graveside dedication will follow at the Logan Cemetery. Funeral directors are Allen-Hall Mortuary.
