While living in Oregon, the Weeks home was open to all the young men that were serving LDS missions and she was their Mom away from home. Many family weekends were spent with the girls at the Oregon Coast creating many cherished memories. She loved to dance, enjoyed music and was a voracious reader. Her faith and testimony in the church was strong and her love for her Heavenly Father enabled her to accomplish amazing things in her lifetime. She was instrumental in starting the Alzheimer’s Association in Utah, creating many family support groups throughout the State for families dealing with this disease and was a tireless advocate for patient and family rights. Jeanne was also a member of the Daughters of the Utah Pioneers (Ralph Smith Camp).

The family wishes to thank the amazing young women who helped and cared for her in the last couple years and provided great comfort, assistance and independence. Thanks also go to Sunshine Home Health and the many doctors that assisted with her care.
