Jeanne Oskar Lee

April 27, 1920 — February 19, 2006

Jeanne Oskar Lee, lifelong resident of Logan, born
April 27, 1920 passed away on February 19, 2006, of
natural causes. She had been residing near her son in
Pleasanton, California for the past two years.

She was the daughter of Mr. and Mrs. Otto Oskar. She
attended Logan schools, graduated from Junior and
senior high school here, and attended Utah State
University for two years. At USU she sang in the
operas Carmen and Martha with music professor Walter
Welti.

She was married to Glenn Lee of Hyde Park in 1945. Her
father owned a motel and 65 apartments, and she
managed one or the other for 25 years. During World
War II she worked at Second Street in Ogden in
personnel. She was a department head at C.C.
Anderson’s in cosmetics for several years. Later in
life, she enjoyed participating in USU’s Festival of
the American West, performing with them for eight
years.

She is survived by two children, Lorelei Jeanne
Armstrong of Sacramento CA and Frederick Oskar Lee of
Pleasanton CA, three granddaughters, Jacqueline
Maxwell and Michelle Pierce, both of Pleasanton CA,
Nicole McConnell of Portland OR, and eight great
grandchildren.

Funeral services will be held at 10:00 a.m., Friday,
March 3, 2006 at the Allen-Hall Mortuary Chapel, 34
East Center Street, Logan, where friends may call one
hour prior to services. Interment will be in the Logan
City Cemetery. Condolences may be extended to the
