Jeffrey was born in Salt Lake City, Utah to Blanche DeWitt Wood and Gordon Stacey Wood on January 25, 1962. He was the youngest of five children. The family lived on 10th Ave. near the LDS Hospital until they moved to the Parley's Canyon area. Jeffrey graduated from Highland High School where he participated in musical groups and acted in several plays.

Jeffrey lived most of his life in Salt Lake City, Utah. He also enjoyed living in Hawaii with his sister for several years, where he continued landscaping and loved the tropical plants.
Jeffrey was kind and pleasant. He was loved and supported by his family and the people he associated with.
Recently he was plagued with serious health issues. We appreciate the care he was given at Logan Regional Hospital and the University of Utah Medical Center. Their interventions lengthened his life.
