Jenett H. McPolin, 83 passed away peacefully at her home on Monday, Oct. 3, 2011 surrounded by her loving family.
Jenett was the second child of Calvin C. and Olive C. Hugie. She was born on Aug. 27, 1928 in Cornish, Utah. Jenett attended Logan City Schools, graduating from Logan High School. After having her family, she furthered her education by attending USU and then began working for the City of Logan in 1968. She worked for the City of Logan for 22 years, retiring in December 1990. Jenett enjoyed her retirement by reading, keeping flowers planted in her yard, attending family cookouts up Logan Canyon, going on family trips to Yellowstone Park and spoiling her grandchildren and great grandchildren. Jenett was a devoted member of the LDS Church serving in various positions throughout her life.
Jenett is survived by her children, Jolene (Bruce) Hancey, Terry McPolin, Sherie McPolin and Roy Dean McPolin; sister, Bonnie (Keith) Schnare; grandchildren, Andrea Parkinson, Kara (Adam) Spackman, Kelly (Tami) McPolin, Bobbi (Jason) McBride, Jennifer Hancey; great grandchildren, Kade and Lola Parkinson, Braxton McPolin, Harlie McBride, Connor Hancey; sisters- in- law, Lois Hugie, Marilyn (Russell) Wayman and many nieces and nephews.
She was preceded in death by her parents, brothers Cecil Hugie, Valdon Hugie , Rex Hugie, George Hugie and her son Royce Albiston.
The family wishes to thank Hospice for their tender loving care of our mother.
Jenett will be missed dearly by all those whose lives she touched.
Funeral services will be held Saturday, Oct. 8, 2011 at 1:00 p.m. at Allen-Hall Mortuary, 34 E. Center in Logan. Friends may call at the mortuary Friday from 6 to 8 p.m. and Saturday morning from 11:30 a.m. to 12:45 p.m. Interment will be in the Logan City Cemetery.
