Jerald Wixom Greaves

Jerald W. Greaves, 90, passed away peacefully on March 17, 2017 at Rocky Mountain Care in Logan Jerald, also known as Jerry or “Jiggs”. He was born in Preston, Idaho to Seymour Greaves and Vera Wixom Greaves.
He served in the United States Navy from April 1944 – May 1946 on the Aircraft Carrier USS Yorktown (CV-10). He returned to Preston where he built many homes with his father and brother, two LDS churches, and the Malad, Idaho Hospital. In 1961, he moved with his wife, Florence and two daughters, Marianne and Pam, to Logan. He then continued to enhance the land by building his beautiful homes.
Jerald is survived by his wife, Florence, his children Marianne Taylor, and Pam Hadfield, six grandchildren, and 13 great grandchildren.
The family would like to extend love and appreciation to all those who helped him through his final days.
Funeral services will be held on Thursday at 1:00 pm in the Allen-Hall Mortuary, 34 East Center. There viewing will be from 11:30 – 12:30 PM. Condolences may be shared online at www.allenmortuaries.com
