Jessie “Jaye” Leona Duncan died, at 94, on January 3, 2012. Born in December of 1917 in Eureka, California, she grew up in San Jose, California and married Robert O. Duncan, an Air Force man. The family called many places home in the U.S. and enjoyed calling England home for three years. Jaye was most proud of her four children and raised them with love and integrity. She lived through the depression, spent time with her first husband managing a gold mine in the Sierra Nevadas, collected antiques while in England, and after retiring from 20 years in Civil Service, she drove her motor home around the U.S. enjoying camping in the parks and seeing the country.
Jaye was preceded in death by two sons, Richard and Donald. She is survived by her son Robert and daughter Sandra Duncan, brother Vernon Reid, daughter-in-law Eunice Duncan (Richard), grandchildren and great grandchildren.
Funeral services will be held on Saturday, January 7th, 2012 at the Allen Mortuary of North Logan Chapel at 2 pm. A viewing will be held prior to services from 12:30-1:30 pm. Interment will take place at the North Logan Memorial Park & Cemetery. Condolences may be sent to the family online at
