He befriended everyone and spent a lot of time running around with the "neighborhood boys". He graduated from Mountain Crest High School. He was attending Utah State University, and pursuing a Public Relations Degree.
He enjoyed riding his Harley Davidson, going to the family cabin, going to pool in the summer, listening to music, and playing the guitar and drums with his band. He had an appreciation for art, and was extremely talented in drawing and painting. He set a goal to visit museams in Paris and London and was so happy to achieve these goals. Joey enjoyed writing and was so creative in expressing himself. He was wonderful cook. He enjoyed cooking and sharing his creations with others. He was great with computers, and loved new gadgets. But like everything else he had, he wasn't happy with what he had until he was sharing his things with his friends and family.
