John Alston Chambers

On Friday January 27th 2017, our dear son, brother, husband, uncle and friend passed away unexpectedly, at the age of 38.
John Alston Chambers was born on April 25th, 1978 to S. Brian and Jacqueline Chambers. He was the fourth of five children.
John grew up in North Logan, UT, where many fond memories were made. He graduated from Sky View High in 1996. Shortly thereafter, he served a two-year mission in Lisbon, Portugal North for the LDS church. John received a bachelor’s degree in Finance & Economics from Utah State University, and an MBA from the University of Utah. While in Salt Lake City, he landed his first job, in his chosen profession at Goldman Sachs.
He married his beautiful wife, Suchitra Nagarajan, on June 21, 2012 in Chennai, India. They have lived in SLC, Utah since.
John was a sports enthusiast and has been one of the Aggies biggest fans. He loved spending time with family, and looked forward to the annual trips to Bear Lake and vacations to Disneyland. Although we will miss his handsome smile, he will forever remain in our hearts and we look forward to seeing him again someday.
John leaves behind his sweet wife, Suchi, his loving parents Brian and Jacqueline Chambers; and one brother and three sisters, Jill and (Scott) Jensen, Ann and (Brad) Johnson, Robert Chambers and (Kristina), and Maria and (Kade) Moncur. He also leaves fourteen nieces and nephews whom he absolutely loved and adored. John was greeted in Heaven by both sets of grandparents.
A viewing will be held at Allen Mortuary (420 East 1800 North of North Logan, Utah) Sunday Feb 5th from 3:00-5:00pm. Funeral services will be held at the LDS church at 1850 North 400 East, in North Logan, Monday, February 6th, 2017 at 12:00pm. A viewing will be held from 10:30-11:30am that morning. Interment will be in the Logan Cemetery.
