LOGAN, UT: John William Cook, 81, died at home on June 22, 2015. John was born to David William Cook and Jennie Gray Cook on June 21, 1934 in Ely, Nevada. He married Joyce Lindhardt in 1955 and later sealed in the temple in 1974, they later divorced, he then married Marie Bradshaw Cook in 1975 and later were sealed in the Logan Temple.
John was a jack of all trades, a hard worker and very loyal. He loved all of his family, children, grandchildren and great grandchildren. John found the gospel in his life and loved it dearly, he is was an active member of the Logan 6th ward. John served his country in the Army. John loved to create woodworks in his spare time, especially bird house's which adorn his home.
John is survived by his children Lisa Marie Cook, Steven (Lue Vonna) Cook, Allison (Randy) Cook Hunsaker, Brian (Roxanne) Cook, Jennifer (David) Cook Low, stepchildren Kathy (Matt) Anderson, Cindy (Kelly) Lauritzen, Mike Trolson, Lori (Connel) Olsen, Tom (Debbie) Trolson, Lynn (Bill) Bauer, Jeff Trolson and Rob (Barbara) Trolson. He was proceeded in death by his wife Marie Cook and Daughter Allison Hunsaker and two step son's Mike and Tom and son in law Connel Olsen.
There will be a graveside service at the Logan Cemetery on Friday, June 26, 2015 at 11:00 am with a viewing prior at Allen-Hall Mortuary, 34 E. Center St. in Logan from 9:30am to 10:30 am. Condolences and memories may be shared with the family online at
