John Joseph Dymerski

August 1, 1937 — October 4, 2024

North Logan

John Joseph Dymerski passed away on October 3, 2024. He was born in Haydenville MA on August 1, 1937 to Joseph and Esther (Kulash) Dymerski. He and his brothers were very active in sports, especially baseball and basketball. John was a member of his High School basketball team " Frosty Kids" that was featured in Sports Illustrated Magazine. He was a faithful fan of the Boston Red Sox, Milwaukee Brewers, and the Atlanta Braves.

After High school, he followed his older brother west to Denver CO. It was there that he so charmed one of his students at his dance studio that Glenda Neece soon became Glenda Dymerski. Together they raised three children, Catherine, Gregory and Alan. The family also included several rescue greyhounds. Their extended family included relatives from the East to the West coasts, and Denver in-between.

As John's career in retail marketing demanded, the family lived in Oregon and Washington. After Glenda passed away, John traveled to Logan UT to visit his son, Alan and Alan's wife, Mary Donahue.

Mary and Alan contrived with mutual friends to have John meet Alice Johnston. Here again, John so charmed Alice that they were married and he stayed in Logan. They enjoyed years together; traveling (especially East from Maine to Florida and West from Alaska and Canada to southern California), camping, birdwatching, gardening and whatever nature had to offer.

John was predeceased by his wife, Glenda; his son, Gregory and his daughter, Catherine. He is survived by his wife, Alice; his son, Alan (Mary), nieces, nephews, grandchildren and in-laws - all fondly known as the East and West Clans; with Denver in between.

Think of John whenever you hear Big Band or the Beatles music.
