BENSON, UTAH: Jordan L. Larsen 22, Benson Utah, unexpectedly left us Saturday afternoon to return to his heavenly home. He leaves behind his loving mother Sally H. Larsen of Benson, and father Orrin V. Larsen of Arizona; his brothers Levi J. Larsen of Logan and Pvt. D. Colby Larsen, 35th Eng. Bn Leonard wood MO; his grandmother Melba Larsen of Ogden, Utah; and many heartbroken family and friends. Jordan was preceded in death by his loving grandparents Lamont C. and Jewell E. Larsen of Benson, and Orrin Larsen of Ogden, a brother, David Larsen, Arizona.
Jordan had recently triumphed over difficult obstacles, received his GED and had a promising outlook. Jordan had an avid love for his friends, family and nature. He had a talent of bringing life into anything he touched. He had a love for his gardening and was an incredibly talented writer. He has written many poems that have been published and won awards for his literature. Jordan was a very giving person that put everyone else before himself and would do anything to get you to smile. He will be missed dearly.
Funeral services will be held on Thursday, July 29, 2010 at 12:00 Noon in the Benson LDS Ward Chapel with Bishop Jeffrey Ballard conducting. A viewing will be held at the ward on Thursday morning from 10:30 to 11:30am. Interment will be in the Millville-Nibley Cemetery.
