Joseph Brent Andrews
Joseph Brent Andrews, 59, passed away unexpectedly at his home in Logan on December 4, 2011. Brent was the second of five children born to Joseph Emil and Iris Olsen Andrews on January 22, 1952 in Logan, Utah.
He attended schools in Logan and Ogden and served in the United States Navy.
He loved the outdoors and when he wasn't working, he was hunting, fishing or camping. He was also an avid sports fan. Brent was a tender-hearted person with a great love for all of his nieces and nephews. He was employed at ICON Health and Fitness and held a lead position where he prepared the machinery for production.
He was an active member of The Church of Jesus Christ of Latter-Day Saints and served as an Elder in the Logan 8th Ward. Brent was well loved by his family and friends and will be dearly missed.
He is survived by his mother, Iris Andrews of Logan. He is also survived by his four siblings; Sherry Broadbent of Harrisville; Kevin (Tina) Andrews of Logan; Blake (Marilyn) Andrews of Logan; and Lori (Todd) Craghead of Layton; and many nieces and nephews. He was preceded in death by his father, Joseph Emil Andrews; and his grandparents Hilary and Ruby Olsen and Joseph and Lillian Andrews.
Funeral services will be held at 12:00 noon on Thursday, December 8, at the Logan 8th Ward chapel at 325 Laurelin Drive. A viewing will be held from 10:30 to 11:45 am prior to the services. Interment will be in the Logan City Cemetery. Condolences may be sent to the family at www.allenmortuaries.net .
