Logan, Utah Joseph “Joey” Dean Sorenson, passed away on Sunday, December 6, 2009 in Logan.
He was born on December 12, 1983 to Cindy Sorenson in Logan, Utah. Joey was raised and educated in Cache County and had many friends and family who he was very passionate about, if you had a friend in Joey, you had a friend for life.
Joey loved fishing, camping, anything outdoors, basketball, little children and drawing. He was employed at Icon at the time of his death. He will be greatly missed by all who knew and loved him.
Joey is survived by his mother, Cindy Sorenson Ricks, father, Dale John Ricks, grandparents, Alton & Della Jensen and many aunts, uncles and cousins.
Joey was preceded in death by his grandfather, Jerry Sorenson and his uncle, Tom Schooley.
Services will be held at 11:00 AM on Thursday, December 10, 2009 in the Allen-Hall Mortuary Chapel, 34 East Center Street in Logan. A viewing will be held prior to services from 9:30 to 10:30 AM. Interment will be in the Smithfield City Cemetery. Condolences may be sent to the family at www.allenmortuaries.net
