Logan, Utah: Joseph Ray Partington, 90, passed away from this life on Thursday, April 17, 2008.
He was born in Logan, Utah on June 30, 1917 to Martina Christensen and J.A. Partington. He attended Logan schools and graduated in 1936.
He found his sweetheart, Ona Barnes, at the Budge Clinic where she worked as a nurse. They were married on May 30, 1942. Their union was blessed with two sons, Lynn (Deb Hopkins) of Lake Saint Louis, MO, and Clyde (Kelsey) of Logan, UT.
Ray was a dry farmer in Petersboro all of his life. He was a hard worker, but found pleasure in golfing, fishing, bowling and traveling with his wife Ona.
Ray’s posterity includes four grandchildren and 10 great-grandchildren. Ray was preceded in death by his parents, one sister and three brothers.
Ray has asked for no public viewing or funeral. Interment will be in the Logan City Cemetery. Condolences may be sent to the family at
