Joyce was born to Alvin and Ida Harris in Logan, Utah on February 25, 1927. She passed away peacefully on November 23, 2018 surrounded by her family.
Joyce graduated from Preston High School and attended Utah State University. She married Elmer Niederhauser in the Logan Temple.
Joyce was a talented pianist and organist. She enjoyed collecting recipes, baking cookies, traveling and temple work. She was an active member of the Church of Jesus Christ of Latter Day Saints and served faithfully all her life.
She was preceded in death by her husband Elmer and her son Gregory. She is survived by Bradley, Alecia (James), Gaylene (Rick), Kristy (Rick), and Rohn. Joyce leaves behind 16 grandchildren, 31 great-grandchildren and three great-great grandchildren and many friends and family members who will miss her dearly.
Services will be held at the Allen-Hall Mortuary, 34 East Center in Logan, on Monday, November 26th at noon. A viewing will be held prior to the service on Monday morning from 10:00 to 11:30 a.m.
Her new mission takes her to a wonderful place where she will be reunited with loved ones who have gone on before her. The family would like to extend a special thanks to the staff at Terrace Grove for giving Joyce a special home and such loving care this past year and to Sunshine Hospice for such tender support these last few days.
