June Manning

February 13, 1926 — July 4, 2008

June Manning went to be with her Lord on July 4th 2008, at 10:05 p.m. It was her perfect day of Independence.

June was born on Feb. 13, 1926 in New Jersey. Her father a boatbuilder and mother, a school truant officer... Mother spoke of many fond memories she had growing up on the beach of the Shrewsbury River in Highlands NJ.

Mother was a registered Nurse for 65 years. We would often tell her that she should write a book on the many changes she saw and was able to contribute to as a nurse, starting back in the times of WWII. From seeing many die with a simple common cold to the modern medicines of today. One of the most challenging and rewarding positions she had was being a chemo therapy nurse in Roswell NM and a very sought after IV Therapist. Mom retired from nursing in 2000 but couldn't stand not helping people so she volunteered at the free clinic in Logan Utah for another 2 years.

Mother was very loved by her family who survive her. Annette Goldy "Peggy" Freund, her only surviving sibling. Children: Linda J. Noel of Pompano Beach Florida. Deanna L. Irwin of Ogden Utah. Lorrie A. Dunn of Hyrum Utah. William K. Sandall of Hyrum Utah, and Cyndee Ordonez of Smithfield Utah. She also has 18 grandchildren... Christian Noel, Andy Noel, Cari A. Calloway, Christie L. Kearney, Jackie Maurer, John W. Maurer, Stephanie Maurer, Michael R. Bowen, Angela June Jones, Wendy M Bowen, Amy E Dunn, Timothy A. Dunn, Ryan Sandall, Brittnie L.Sandall, Barbra J. Sandall, Melisa S Ordonez, Joshua T. Ordonez, and Summer L. Ordonez. She also has 23 Great Grandchildren... And was also blessed with her one and only Great Great Grand daughter, Ivy Marie Irwin.

Mother was sick for a very short time before she went to be with the Lord. She died at the young age of 82. She will be missed and loved by all who knew her, but missed, loved and adored by her family forever.

There will be a time of remembrance and sharing on Saturday the 12th of July at Cache Valley Christian Center, 6:00 p.m. 930 N. 400 W. Logan. All are welcome to attend the service.
