Juness Larson Christensen

Juness (June) Larson Christensen, 96, of Smithfield, Utah passed away on November 15, 2006 at the Legacy House Assisted Living Center of natural causes.
She was born to Helen Lungman Larson and August Carlson Larson. She had three half brothers and sisters. She married Roy Christensen of Richmond, Utah on August 23, 1933 in Preston, Idaho and was later solemnized in the Logan LDS Temple in 1951.
Juness was active in the LDS Church all of her life holding numerous positions. She was faithful to the end.
She graduated from North Cache High School in Richmond and after her family was raised she worked part time at her alma mater, North Cache and then Sky View High.
She had a wonderful voice and sang with the Richmond Ladies Chorus as well as in a trio with her sister.
Three children were born to Juness and Roy. Beverly “Bunny” (Boyd) Campbell, Diane C. (Larry) Stone, Ryan Christensen (deceased). She had six grandchildren and 12 great-grandchildren and 1 great-granddaughter.
June was preceded in death by her husband, Roy, her son, Ryan, and grandson, Kelly Campbell.
The family would like to thank the Logan House Assisted Living staff, Vistacare Hospice and her doctors, Steven Salisbury and Corey Johnson (Grandson-in-law). She was the first resident at Logan House Assisted Living.
Graveside services will be at 12:00 pm on Saturday, November 18 at the Richmond City Cemetery. A viewing will be held from 10-11:30 am prior to services at Allen-Hall Mortuary, 34 East Center St. in Logan. Condolences and thoughts may be extended to the family online at www.allenmortuaries.net .
