Karen Evans, 15, from North Logan Utah left us early February 18th. She was a beloved daughter, sister, granddaughter, cousin, and friend. It is impossible to articulate how much we will miss her. Karen was born in Logan, Utah on October 7, 1997 and was a sophomore at Logan High School. She was a member of the Logan High Debate team and loved taking photos, collecting records, listening to music, and spending time with her family, friends and her cat Raymond. She was a vibrant and compassionate girl with a double dose of personality. Karen had the ability to make connections with almost anyone she met, a trait she shared with her paternal grandfather. She loved her sister, kittens, and changing her hair. Her parents, James Evans and Susanne Janecke, and her sister Erica Evans, uncles and aunts, grandparents, five cousins, and her cat Raymond survive her. Her cousin Sarah and paternal grandparents preceded her in death. An informal memorial gathering to share memories and thoughts of Karen will be held from 6 to 8 pm on Friday evening in Bruner Hall at the First Presbyterian Church, 178 West Center Street?, Logan. A funeral service follows on Saturday morning at 11 am in the sanctuary at First Presbyterian Church. All are welcome. Flowers may be sent for the memorial gathering or, in place of flowers, donations may be made to Hope4utah, C/O Cathy Bledsoe, 280 West 940 North, Provo, Utah 84604.
