Karen Clark Stone

February 17, 1956 — April 10, 2013

Karen Clark Stone
North Logan-Karen Clark Stone, 57, of North Logan passed away April 10th, 2013 from a courageous two year battle with cancer. Karen was born Feb 17th, 1956 in Ogden, Utah to Vern and Carol Clark. She graduated from Sky View High school in 1974. She then attended Stevens-Henager College in Ogden followed by Utah State University. It was here in Logan where she met the love of her life, Fran Stone. Fran and Karen were married in the Ogden temple on September 23rd, 1977. After college they moved to Chicago, Illinois where they lived for 24 years. There they raised three daughters while serving the Lord through various callings and building lasting friendships. In 2002 they were blessed to move back to Cache Valley and be close to family. The remainder of her time was spent serving in church callings, supporting her daughters and son-in-laws and playing with her precious grandchildren. All though we will miss her dearly we know that she will always be with us as a loving wife, mother, grandmother and friend.
Karen was known throughout her life for her infectious smile and darling dimples. Though she faced many tribulations she never allowed them to dim her smile.
Karen was preceded in death by her parents Vern and Carol Clark. She is survived by her husband Fran Stone; three daughters, Jennifer and Brady Dunham of Layton, Lisa and Jeremy Wilcock of Providence, Michelle and Jake Olsen of Providence; grandchildren; Katelyn, Carly and Chase Dunham, Connor, Lexie and Kade Wilcock, Isabelle Olsen; siblings; Scott Clark, Doug and Sue Clark, Curtis and Jackie Clark, Brent Clark, SueAnn and LaVal Jensen.
