Kari Ashlock

CHANDLER, AZ - Karilyn Laura Kelley Ashlock, 45, passed away November 9, 2008, at her home in Chandler, Arizona.
Kari was born in
San Jose, California May 21, 1963 to Hoyt & Lois Kelley and was the youngest in a family of 7 children. She grew up in Honolulu, HI, and
Providence, Utah where she attended school in Providence and Sky View High School. She moved to Mesa AZ in 1986.
She married Kenneth Ashlock in 1993 and was blessed with two beautiful daughters, Kelby and
Kalei, and two loving step-
children, Vanessa and Kory.
Kari is survived by her husband
father, children and grandchildren. Siblings are: Kathi (Phil) Betz, Logan, Brian (Suzie) Kelley, La Canada, CA, Debra(Mike) Holtz, Billings, MT.
Ken (Bev) Kelley, Bountiful, UT
Mike Kelley of Port Orchard, WA,
and Kevin (Wendy) Kelley of Green River, WY. Her numerous nieces
and nephews were loved by her.
Her family and friends were everything to her and she always
had a kind word for everyone. Her
life was truly an example of faith, perseverance and enduring to the end. She was known for her generosity
and upbeat personality and was a
hero to many for the way in which
she lived with her health trials.
Every life she touched was better because of her. Kari was the heart
and soul of her family, a wonderful mother, grandmother, sister, friend and eternal companion, and will
truly be missed! A funeral service
was held in Chandler, AZ November 15th, at the Church of Jesus Christ of
Latter-Day Saint. Services in Logan
UT, will be at Allen Hall Mortuary,
34 E. Center Street, November 22nd
2008, with a visitation from 10:00-11 :00, and a funeral service to follow at 11:OOam. Interment will be in the Providence City Cemetery. Condolences and thoughts may be expressed to the family online at www.allenmortuaries.net .
