Kathleen Bosworth Raymond

May 17, 1941 — April 17, 2009

Logan, UT-Kathleen Bosworth Raymond, 67, of Logan, Utah passed away Friday, April 17, 2009 at Sunshine Terrace in Logan.
She was born May 17, 1941 in Logan, Utah to Elmer Bosworth and Thelma Zollinger Bosworth.
Kathleen was a devoted and loving wife to her husband, Conley Thomas Raymond, who tragically passed away early in their married life on June 1, 1969. Because Conley was the love of her life, she never remarried. During his service as a U.S. Army aviator, she lived in Utah, Arizona, Texas, Virginia, Alabama, and New Jersey. Her husband and son were the central parts of her life. She dearly loved her grandchildren, as well as her many nieces and nephews, whom she also considered to be her grandchildren, including Mathieu, Zachary, and Anna.
The third of seven children, she was raised in Logan and graduated from Logan High School. She was a wonderful tap and toe dancer in her youth. Kathleen was known for her love and devotion to the gospel, thoughtfulness, generosity and love towards others. She made many friends throughout her life, and never forgot anyone’s name or their special occasions. She enjoyed the beauties of nature, especially her roses, which she shared with everyone. She was a member of the Cache Valley Garden Club, and Logan City Urban Forest Advisory Board.
She was a member of The Church of Jesus Christ of Latter-day Saints. Her love and devotion to the gospel gave her various opportunities to serve as a teacher in the Relief Society. Mostly, she enjoyed her many years teaching in the Primary, where she also served as Primary president. For numerous years, she attended the temple and studied the gospel through Institute classes. She graduated from both Seminary and Institute. Her faith sustained her through many trials in her life. Her faith was also a strength to others.
She is survived by her son, Jeffrey Conley Raymond (Sheila) of Logan, Utah; five grandchildren: Jennifer Neria (Chris) of Salt Lake City, Utah, Joshua, Andrew, James, and Adam of Logan, Utah; six siblings: Bette Anne Hendrickson (Alven, deceased) of Fruit Heights, Utah, Dee Bosworth (Marie) of Logan, Utah, Ron Bosworth of Logan, Utah, Roxie Peterson (LaMoine) of Providence, Utah, Nancy Lloyd of Hyrum, Utah, Tracie Lockhart (Mike) of Mendon, Utah; a sister-in-law, Carol Koerner (Karl) of Draper, Utah, a brother-in-law, Lanny Raymond (Linda) of Cave Creek, Arizona. She was preceded in death by her husband, Conley Thomas Raymond, her parents, Elmer and Thelma Zollinger Bosworth, her father-in-law George Frank Raymond, and her mother-in-law Reta Mae Raymond.
Funeral services will be held at 12:00 noon on Saturday, April 25, at the Logan Third Ward Chapel, located at 250 North 400 West in Logan, with Bishop Troy Johnson conducting. Friends may call Friday evening from 6:00-8:00 p.m. at Allen-Hall Mortuary, 34 East Center in Logan.
