Smithfield, Utah: On May 2, 2011, with his parents by his side, KC “Butterz” Nordick returned to his Heavenly Father and to the sweet, loving embrace of his Grandma Nordick., after a courageous battle with colorectal cancer
KC was born February 11, 1987 in Logan. He was an adorable little boy with lots of blonde curls who charmed all of his Grandma Nordick's visiting teaching ladies.
KC's childhood was spent in Millville getting into mischief with the Ropelato boys who lived across the street. He later moved to Smithfield where he spent his teenage years hanging out with the Perkes boys.
KC graduated from Sky View High School in 2005 and in 2011, despite his illness, achieved an Associates degree in Science at Usu.
He spent 8 years working at Logan Lanes where he became known only as "Butterz". He made many awesome, incredible friends during his years there. At the time of his death he was employed by Schreiber Foods in Smithfield.
KC loved riding his 4-wheeler and he loved bowling, but his greatest love was his special friend Melissa. His good nature and kindness influenced all who knew him.
He is survived by his parents, Paul and Kristy Garr. His Grandpa Harold Nordick and Grandparents Bill and Ida Davis and Richard and Ruthann Garr. He is also survived by Great Grandparents Dennis and Connie Garr and many Aunts, Uncles, Cousins and amazing friends who will miss him a lot.
