Kenneth Humphreys

January 28, 1949 — July 25, 2012

PARADISE - "Ken", 63, while at his sister’s home, returned to his Heavenly Father on July 25, 2012 after a brave battle with liver cancer. He was born Jan. 28, 1949 in Ogden Utah to Newell Don and Claire Allen Humphreys.

Ken was known to family, friends, and others as a loving father, grandfather, brother, uncle, and friend. He was "respectfully" rebellious, proven to town the line when provoked but seldom crossing it. He had a humorous outlook on his many trials in life. He was a humble and prayerful man, courteous and mindful of others. Ken touched the life and soul of many who chanced his way, especially while serving on the staff at the Bread of Life Mission in Holbrook, AZ.

He married Vicki Stapp and although was later divorced remained very close friends.

He is survived by his daughter Lisa Lopez, grandsons Marcus and Eric all of Concord CA, Vicki and his son Kenneth of Redding CA and his sister LaDawn Hirst and his mother, both of Paradise, Utah.

He was preceded in death by his father and by his sister Marcene Hatch. He will be deeply missed by those left behind and zealously welcomed by those gone before him.

In lieu of flowers, the family would prefer a charitable contribution to the Hospice Foundation of Utah. A very special thanks to Hospice of Utah for their loving care, to the Paradise 4th Ward, and to those who helped him along to the end of this trail with dignity. And also, in lieu of flowers, please offer a prayer, a kind word, or helping hand to those in need.

Ken will be cremated under the direction of Allen-Hall Mortuary and has requested there be no services.

Condolences may be extended to the family at www.allenmortuaries.net .
