Kerry L. Broadhead
Our most cherished and loved son, brother, father, uncle, nephew, grandson and friend Kerry LaMonte Broadhead, died unexpectedly of a heart attack in his sleep at the age of 37 on September 8, 2007. He is now in the arms of his loving father in Heaven and was met with great joy by his younger brother Rodney and his grandparents who loved him so much. Kerry was born on May 25, 1970 in Logan, Utah to Wayne and Flura Campbell Broadhead. He was raised in Hyde Park, Utah and was a member of the Church of Jesus Christ of Latter-day Saints.
Kerry was the second child of five sons and two daughters. Kerry had a compassionate heart and was a kind loving son. Kerry was the strength for our family and was always there for those who needed him especially his mother.
Kerry was a proud father, his son Christian was a true source of happiness and will remain to be so forever. He graduated from Sky View High School and Seminary in 1989. He loved life, he liked anything that had to do with the outdoors, snowboarding, camping, but his true passion was fishing.
Friends and family were very important to Kerry. He was a giving person and loved by all who knew him and will be sorely missed.
He is survived by his son, Christian, father, Wayne, mother, Flura; brothers, Kelly (Cassandra), Tracy and Randy; his sisters, Wendy Lenkersdorfer (George) and Holly Markey (Ryan) and grandmother, Ivy Haughian.
Funeral services will be held at 12:00 noon on Friday, September 14, 2007 at the Hyde Park Center Street Chapel, 63 East Center Street. There will be a viewing on Thursday evening from 6-8 p.m. at the Allen Mortuary, 420 East 1800 North, North Logan and at the Church on Friday from 10:30-11:30 a.m. prior to services.
