Kirk Jay Bartschi, 48, passed away in his sleep from the effects of liver disease and cancer early Tuesday, September 4,2007. Kirk was born on June
18, 1959 in Boise Idaho. He lived his early years in the Ogden area graduating from Bonneville High School where he met his future wife Marilyn Arave (Later divorced).
Kirk lived his later years in Logan where he was a great help and comfort to many people in the apartment complex where he lived. He enjoyed to spend time at Bear Lake at the families cabin and also loved to ride his Harley Davidson motorcycle. In his early years Kirk enjoyed spending time with his Grandpa Bartschi and Grandma Wayman. Kirk was an Eagle Scout. Kirk was happy, helpful, kind and had a good sense of humor.
Survived by daughter Mandy (Ian) Bowersock, son, Wyler Bartschi, grandson Mason, mother LuDeen Wayman Bartschi Hunsaker, sister Jolene (Mike) Ashworth, brothers Craig (Wendy) Bartschi and Brian (Jan) Bartschi. Preceded in death by father Lloyd Johnson Bartschi and sister Millette Bartschi.
A viewing will be held on Saturday, September 8 from 10:30 am to 11:45 am at Allen Hall Mortuary, 34 East Center Street in Logan. A family graveside will follow in the Montpelier Cemetery, Idaho. Condolences and thoughts may be expressed to the family online at www.allenmortuaries.net
