Kongkhan Vongsavath Langsy was born in Vientiane, Laos on May 12th 1953 to Mr. Tee and Ngiem Santhala and adopted by Mr. Saveng and Khankeo Vongsavath. She was a kindergarten teacher in Pakse, Laos prior to immigrating to the United States in 1978 to Murfreesboro, Tennesse.
She passed away on February 2nd, 2018 surrounded by her loved ones. She will forever be remembered as the most loving, caring, compassionate, kind hearted, vibrate little lady.
She devoted her life to her children and grandchildren. Growing up our mom always made sure everyone was taken care of even if it meant sacrificing her own happiness for others. That's just the type of person she was.
She is survived by her children: Malyna (Don) Truong, Tony Langsy, Solena (Brian) Harris, Jeremy (Brittny) Steiner. Her brothers and sisters: Thoume Dethphommathet, Sittisack Vongsavath, Jaro Vongsavath, Dara Luong, Rattana Phanthanak, Praseutsack Vongsavath, Sourisack Abe Vongsavath, Phonphet Vongsavath, Amanda Thepsouvanh, Manivone Maney Phomahaxay. Her grandchild ren: Destiny, Asien, Alyna, Alec, Kage, Kailer, Axton, Donovin, Stella, Mia, Raya, and Elle.
Services will be held from 11 AM - 3 PM on Saturday, February 10, 2018 at Allen-Hall Mortuary, 34 East Center Street, Logan. A viewing will be held from 4-8 PM on Friday evening, February 9 at the mortuary. Condolences and thoughts may be expressed to the family online at
