Fae G. Petersen passed away Monday, September 10, 2018 in Logan, UT. She was born in Wellsville, UT October 31, 1929 to George P. and Idena Larson Glenn. She was a life-long member of the Church of Jesus Christ of Latter-day Saints.
Fae married Reid Gerald Petersen on June 18, 1951. They settled in Logan and had four children, Julie Palmer, Centerville, UT; Glenn (Kathy) Petersen, Grace, ID; Mark (Jeanette) Petersen, Bountiful, UT; Jon Petersen, Logan, UT.
Fae enjoyed a number of retail jobs during her life and made fond lasting friends in co-workers and customers.
She embraced her Halloween birthday her entire life. She always dressed up and “partied” the whole day. Her children found it nearly impossible to get her on the phone that day. No one who knew her ever forgot her birthday.
Fae loved the music of the church. Many of her callings included music service. She loved all music and socializing. She had an ability to make friends from any age group. Her memory was always amazing, even remembering names of her caregiver’s children.
Fae was a member of the Logan 17th Ward for 21 years. When she and Reid moved to the 19th Ward she loved being where her brother Dean and wife Naoimi were. Fae and Naomi became true sisters and were virtually inseparable.
Fae was preceded in death by her parents; husband, Reid; sister, Shirley; and her dear Naomi.
She is survived by her four children and brother, G. Von Glenn.
Services are under the direction of Allen-Hall Mortuary and will take place Friday, September 14, 2018 at 12:00 pm at the Logan 19th Ward chapel, 1255 North 600 East in Logan. A viewing will take place Thursday, September 13th at Allen-Hall Mortuary, 34 East Center in Logan, from 6:00 to 8:00 pm, and prior to funeral services at the 19th Ward chapel from 10:00 to 11:30 am.
