PARADISE, UTAH: LaDawn (Anderson) Waite of Farmington, New Mexico passed away at UNMH in Albuquerque on Friday, November 26, 2010.
LaDawn was born December 19, 1938 in Logan, Utah. She attended Utah State University where she obtained a B.S. degree in Elementary Education. While attending, she met Albert Waite and they were mamed in Logan, Utah at the LDS temple on December 28, 1960 and began their family. In 1962 they moved to Columbia, Missouri to continue education. In 1977 the family moved to Farmington. They were happily married for 49 years and 11 months.
She was preceded in death by her parents, Marion and Elizabeth Anderson, 1nlaws, Ray and Marjorie Waite, two brother in-laws, a nephew and a niece.
She is survived by her loving husband, Albert, her children, Kimberly Waite, Beth and Frank Schumacher, Eric and Valerie Waite, Kelly and Ken Jung, Steve and Amber Waite, Sam and Shannon Waite as well as 17 grandchildren and 4 great grandchildren. She was an active member of the Church of Jesus Christ of Latter Day Saints. LaDawn was a loving, gracious, charitable wife, mother and friend. She has touched many lives by her selfless service.
