LaDeane Jones Glenn, a treasured wife, mother, Grandmother, Great-Grandmother, and friend passed away peacefully at her home in Wellsville, Utah on July 1, 2010. LaDeane was born on January 18, 1942 in Paradise, Utah to Duane Early Jones and Pheobe Richman Jones. She attended grade school in Paradise and secondary school in Hyrum, Utah.
She Married Ivan Reed Glenn on December 23, 1959. They recently celebrated their Fiftieth Wedding Anniversary. LaDeane and Reed were blessed with five children; 3 boys and 2 girls. John (Squatty) Glenn, Jeff (Lori) Glenn, Dee (Kerry) Glenn, Kim McBride all of Wellsville, and Debby (Paul) Andersen of Fairview, Idaho.
She was a member of the Church of Jesus Christ of Latter-day Saints. Before retiring, LaDeane worked at Schreibers for 24 yrs. She was devoted to her children, 15 Grandchildren, and 12 Great-Grandchildren, tending all of them at some point. Going to their many activities kept her busy and very happy. She enjoyed having family BBQ's and parties. LaDeane like going on trips and looked forward to visiting new places.
LaDeane was preceded in death by her parents, Duane and Pheobe Jones, brother Glade Jones, Son-in-law, Darwin McBride and Grandson Casey Reed McBride. LaDeane will be greatly missed and forever remembered. An extraordinary lady who loved and cherished her family and friends.
Funeral services will be held at 12:00 PM on Tuesday, July 6, 2010 in the Wellsville 7th Ward Chapel, 660 South 100 West in Wellsville. A viewing will be held on Monday evening from 6:00 to 8:00 PM at the Allen-Hall Mortuary, 34 East Center Street in Logan, and prior to services at the church on Tuesday from 10:30 to 11:30 AM. She will be laid to rest in the Wellsville Cemetery. Condolences may be sent to the family at www.allenmortuaries.net
