LaRee Nielsen Lyon
LaRee passed away peacefully on May 28, 2009 in Salt Lake City at the age of 91. She was born in Hyrum, Utah on November 14, l917. She graduated from Utah State with a teaching degree and taught school in Utah and California.
LaRee is survived by her children, Ken Lyon, Jr., Linda Baker and Judy Simpson, 6 grandchildren and 12 great-grandchildren. She also is survived by her brother, R. Lynn Nielsen and sisters Alta Andreason, MaeVon Wolff and Betty Hawkins. She was preceded in death by her husband Kenneth E. Lyon, Sr.
A graveside service will be held at 1:00 PM in the Hyrum City Cemetery on Tuesday, June 9, 2009. Arrangements are under the direction of Allen-Hall Mortuary. Condolences may be sent to the family at www.allenmortuaries.net
