Larry Ross Kidman passed away quickly and peacefully at Sunshine Terrace in the early morning of March 16, 2015.
Larry is was preceded in death by his brothers Denny and Alvin Kidman. Larry is survived by his sisters Jerry Maurer and Georgia Edlund, his wife of 48 years Kathy Kidman and his children; daughter Michelle Kidman Jones, sons Ross Kidman, Ron Kidman and Scott (Charity) Kidman, along with 9 grandchildren he loved very much.
Larry was a dedicated hard working man who provided honorably for his family. He spent 23 years working as a custodian for USU and he valued that job. He always did the best work he could and never, ever called in sick to work the entire time he worked there. After his day at work he would spend the nights and weekends mowing lawns to make extra money and in the winter he would shovel snow. He was always busy, he always had something to do. Larry was a soft spoken man until he got riled up and then he defended what he believed in with all his might.
Throughout his entire life Larry was a faithful member of the LDS church and served faithfully in many different capacities but his most proud calling was cleaning/maintaining the church building, nobody could make that church as clean as Larry could.
The last few years of Larry’s life he was battling dementia and that took a toll on himself and his family. As with most dementia patients he slowly forgot things and people in his life but he always remembered his lovely wife Kathy and even in the last hours of his life he held her hand and told her he loved her. We are fortunate that most of the family was able to visit him on Sunday and say goodbye, while he was definitely on his way out of this life he was able to say I Love You and we all felt his love as we said good bye.
