Lela (Tobler) Lacy passed away on March 7, 2019, in Providence Utah. She was born in Bunkerville, Nevada on November 28, 1933, to mother Leah Leavitt and father Harmon Christian Tobler. She had eight older siblings all of whom have proceeded her in death. Lela was married for a time to Donald Lacy with whom she had four children. They were later divorced. Lela’s children are Mark (and Karen) Lacy, of Nibley, Utah; Brad (and Jenny Ji) Lacy; Paul (and Kim) Lacy, and Cindy (and Owen Bateman) all in the Sacramento area. She is survived by fourteen grandchildren, and eleven great-grandchildren. Lela was an interior designer by trade and worked many years in Sacramento for Ethan Allen Furniture stores. She moved to Cache Valley in 2005 and has lived here since. She was very fond of the staff and residents at the Cache Valley Assisted Living Center and they are very much appreciated for their care, love and support of Lela over the past five years. Lela was a member of the Church of Jesus Christ of Latter-day Saints and committed to her belief her entire life. She will be missed.
A memorial service will be held Saturday, March 16, at 11 a.m. in the Relief Society Room of the Church of Jesus Christ of Latter-day Saints, at 360 West 3200 South in Nibley, UT.
