Leona Glauser Spackman, 89, passed away at the Logan Nursing and Rehabilitation Center, Tuesday, April 17, 2007. She was born Sept. 11, 1917 in Logan to Fred and Martha von Niederhausern Glauser. She graduated from Logan High in 1936 then attended Utah State University. She married Leon Sly June 1941, they were later divorced. She married Brigham Spackman in the Logan Temple on Jan 23, 1951. He died in 1969. She lived in Trenton, Brigham City, Ogden and California.
She was preceded in death by her parents, brothers Ted and Melvin. She is survived by her four daughters: Jeanette Spackman, Las Vegas, NV, Hazel Lacey, Pahrump, NV, Rosanna (John) Morturello, Ogden, Martha (John) Serenita, Chandler, AZ. Her three sisters and two brothers: Bessie Davis, Logan, Ruth Liljenquist, Santa Ana, CA Carma Watts, Providence, Wesley Glauser, St. George, and Kenneth (Sally) Glauser, Ogden. She is also survived by 4 grandchildren and 5 great-grandchildren.
Friends and family are invited to a graveside service to be held Sat. April 21, at 11:00 a.m. at the Logan City Cemetery.
