Leonita (Lee) Boitel Hobbie
Chubbuck, Id-Lee Hobbie, 86, passed away, in her
home at Cottonwood Cove Retirement Community with her
loved ones by her side on October 9, 2006. Compassion
and assistance by Hospice and the staff of Cottonwood
Cove was invaluable.
Born in Brooklyn, NY on September 12, 1920 to Peter
and Frances Boitel weighing in at two pounds her
survival instinct kicked in and never faltered. She
lived her life by her terms and brought every one she
met humor and joy.
Survived by daughter Jo Ann Murphy of Lava Hot
Springs, Id, granddaughter Michelle Murphy of
Pocatello, Id, son Michael Hobbie of Idaho Falls, Id,
sister Frances Davide (husband Don) of New York, as
well as nieces, nephews and countless friends.
Preceded in death by her son William Hobbie.
I lieu of flowers, family request donations be made
to the American Diabetes Association.
Memorial Mass will be held at St Thomas Aquinas
Church, 795 North 800 East in Logan, Ut on Thursday,
October 12th at 11 AM immediately following she will
be buried at Logan cemetery, 1000 North 1200 East,
Logan. A second memorial mass will be held at St
Paul's Catholic Church in Chubbuck, Id on Friday,
October 13th at 2 PM. Condolences may be extended to

When thinking of my mother remember her favorite
phrase, "EXCELLENT.........NO PROBLEM"!!
