Lial B. Atwood

PARADISE-Lial B Atwood, age 89 of Paradise went to join the love of his life for their 70th wedding anniversary in heaven, on Tuesday, October 18, 2022
Lial was born on December 29, 1932, in Whiterocks Utah. He received his education at Alterra High School and the school of life.
He married LaVeigh Christine Thomas Atwood on October 18, 1952, in the Salt Lake LDS Temple, and was later blessed with four sons and two daughters
He was a member of the Church of Jesus Christ of Latter-day Saints. He held many calling in his life that included Scouting program for many years, Ward Bishop and later High Priest group leader.
He is survived by his children: Linda (Raymond)Price of Paradise, Lial (Judith) Atwood of West Valley, Leroy (Cheryl Atwood) of Paradise, Lance (Deon) Atwood of Paradise, Larry (Carleen) Atwood of Paradise, LaRee (Michael) Tyler of Stansbury Park. 16 grandchildren, 22 great-grandchildren and 1 great-great grandchild.
He was preceded in death by his wife, his parents, his two sisters, and a great grandaughter.
Funeral services will be held at 12:00 PM on Saturday, October 29, 2022, at the Paradise 4th Ward Chapel, 155 E. 9400 S. in Paradise. A viewing will be held from 6:00 to 7:30 on Friday evening, October 28, 2022, at the Paradise 4th Ward Chapel, and also from 10:00 AM to 11:30 AM prior to the services on Saturday.
