Linda Kae Frodsham

November 10, 1944 — June 22, 2015

NOVEMBER 10, 1944-JUNE 22, 2015

Linda Kae Boyak Frodsham passed away peacefully on Jun 22, 2015, at the Ogden Utah Regional Medical Center, after a valiant fight against a rare form of Bone Marrow Cancer. She was born November 10th, 1944 to Bert Albert Boyack and Theo Christie Matson Boyak Russell. She was the oldest of six children. She had 2 brothers, 2 half-sisters and 1 half-brother.
Linda grew up in Orem, UT where she spent most of her school years. Her mother lived alone raising her children most of her life. During her teenage years, Linda stepped up to the responsibility of helping take care for her brothers and sisters while her mother worked. Linda fed them meals, nursed them when they were sick at night and registered them in school. She was a mother to them all.
Linda married the love of her life, Dale Gary Frodsham on July 2, 1973, in San Jose CA, where she was living and working. She and Gary settled in Logan, UT where they raised their children. One year to the exact date of their marriage they were sealed in the Logan temple. Gary was Linda's rock. Gary brought 3 boys to the marriage and Linda loved them as her own. She and Gary had 3 more boys. She was a devoted mother to “her six boys”. She also helped raise 2 nieces, Lisa and Shyla Russell and an Indian placement student. She gave them all loving care as well. In 2005, the Lord called Linda and Gary “on a mission” to care for 4 very special grandchildren. Her greatest disappointment was not being able to finish “her mission” for the two youngest still at home.
Linda was a devoted member of the Church of Jesus Christ of Latter Day Saints with an unwavering testimony of the Saviors love and in His atonement for all who would have faith in Him. Her favorite calling was teaching primary for which she spend many hours and her own money to prepare. She loved baking, cooking, having family dinners on Sunday, scrapbooking, sewing, shopping, and hot-tubbing, Friday night dates and annual anniversary vacations with Gary. She especially loved the family's yearly summer vacation trips including Bear Lake and periodic trips to first Boston and then Cape Canaveral. Her idea of camping was staying at a very clean motel or hotel.
Linda was preceded in death by her parents and her stepfather. She is survived by her husband of 42 years, Gary, her sons Kevin Dale, Gary Kyle, Louis John and three stepsons Darren Scot (Karol), Shawn Cameron, and Justin Lynn (Ann); 2 brothers Rodney Wayne Russell (Kathy), Jeffrey Russell, 1 half-brother Otto Frank Russell, and twin sisters DeEtta Salfrank (Dennis) and DeAnna Klindt (Whitey); 8 Grandchildren, 3 Great Grandchildren and numerous nieces and nephews, who will all miss her.
Funeral services will be held on June 29th, at 12:00 noon, in the LDS stake center located at 1450 East 1500 North, Logan, Utah. Friends may visit the family on June 28th, from 6:00 to 8:00 PM, at the Allen Mortuary located at 420 East 1800 North, North Logan, Utah and at the Church from 10:00 to 11:30 AM prior to the Service. Interment will be In the Logan Cemetery immediately following the Service.
The family would like to express their appreciation to Linda’s Primary physician, Dr. Deserae Goble and the staff at Ogden Region Medical Center for their Loving care.
