Linda Ripplinger Hansen, 69, passed away after a long battle with cancer on Friday May 3rd 2013.
She was born July 10th 1943 in Smithfield Utah to Conrad Lawrence Ripplinger and Vera Beth Roskelly Ripplinger. She was briefly married to Howard Hollis Young then later married and sealed to her now eternal companion, Paul Naylor Hansen of Logan.
She graduated from Logan High School as well as Utah State University where she majored in elementary education. She taught 1st, 2nd and 3rd grade at McKinley Elementary in Tremonton Utah, as well as special education at Foothill Elementary in Brigham City Utah. She was a very dedicated teacher who was loved by her students and faculty wherever she taught.
She was dedicated wife and mother. She taught her children to love God not only by word, but by example. She exemplified grace under a refiner’s fire as she battled various health concerns for years and cancer for over 12 years. Her loving family helped out when and wherever possible but none were as dedicated to serving her than her two daughters, Lisa and Angela. We all love and miss her however, we are comforted in the knowledge that this separation will only be temporary, and that we will be reunited once again by a loving Father in Heaven.
She is survived by her husband Paul Naylor Hansen, daughters Darsie Lynn (Shon) Vella, Lisa Ann, Angela Dawn; sons Bradley Paul (Elizabeth), David Chris (Kate), Matthew Dean (Caroline), thirteen grandchildren and ten great-grandchildren; sister Lore Ann (Steve) Webb and brother C. Robert (Jolene) Ripplinger. She was preceded in death by her parents and grandparents.
