Linda Kay Nish Hancey 72, passed away peacefully on Saturday, April 30, 2016 in Murray, Utah surrounded by her family.

Linda worked at Thiokol, USU, and Everton Publishers. However, her greatest accomplishment was being a mother to her 4 children and later a grandmother to her 11 grandchildren. She was also considered a mom by many others that she provided care for.
Linda was a member of the Church of Jesus Christ of Latter-day Saints. She faithfully served in many church callings throughout her life. Linda loved to bake, sew, crochet, garden, watch sports - especially when her grandkids were playing! She also enjoyed a cold can of Coke!
Linda loved family traditions. Holidays were her favorite; Christmas, Easter Egg Hunts, Birthdays and BBQs were enjoyed by all! She enjoyed visiting with many friends and neighbors. Her love and laughter will be missed by all who knew her. Thanks Mom, for your example of hard work and endurance. We love you! Happy Birthday!
Linda is survived by her children Lori & Greg Traveller- Richmond; Darrin & Stacy Hancey - Hyde Park; Marci & Scott Jackson - Smithfield; Mindi & Michael Frost - North Salt Lake and grandchildren; Carson & Kyleigh Traveller, Brianna (Eric) Johnson, Christopher, and Jonathan Hancey, Breck, Kimball, Cardon, and Brynlyn Jackson, Cale & Zane Frost. The family would like to thank all of her friends and neighbors for their help and love throughout the years and a special thank you to the doctors and nurses in Logan and the team at IMC in Murray.
